The Herd thunder into a new season 1-0 thanks to Rayjon Tucker's game winner.
We have thoughts, plus clips of interviews with Tucker and Wisconsin head coach Chaisson Allen.
The Milwaukee Bucks haven't been very fun, but thankfully the Wisconsin Herd did their best to make up for their NBA affiliate on Monday night with a thrilling 126-124 victory over the newly renamed Cleveland Charge.
Jordan Treske joined me for a GSPN crossover to talk all about the game, including Rayjon Tucker's last-second game-winner, the new-look Herd, and how much more fun the team could be at full strength.
In addition to gushing over some individual players, I posed a very hard question to Jordan at the end of the episode: with all of these good players around, who would start when everybody (including two-ways) is available?
One player who unfortunately was not available was Jemerrio Jones, who I was told shouldn’t miss more than a week or two with a lower leg injury. Jones was in street clothes at the game with his teammates.
Also included in the pod are some interview clips from me attending postgame media availability, so you get to hear from Tucker and Wisconsin head coach Chaisson Allen directly. Sorry there’s some background audio in those — that’s G League media time for you!
Also, the YouTube version should hopefully be out sometime Tuesday — working the clips in is proving to complicate that process slightly, but our top folks are working on it, I promise.
