Scary Terry haunts Packers in yet another second half collapse
Pack travel to Buffalo to battle Super Bowl contender Bills, try to halt three-game skid
The Packers are currently on a three game losing streak. The likes of which haven’t been seen at 1265 Lombardi Avenue since the 2019 season when the last loss against the Arizona Cardinals was former coach Mike McCarthy’s last game with the franchise.
The 2022 Packers matched that skid with a 23-21 loss to the Washington Commanders on Sunday that was anything but pleasant to watch from a fan perspective.
With that being said, a few players did earn their slice of cheese this week by being a shining light in an otherwise dark, lackluster day of Packers football.
The Cheeseboard 🧀
Aaron Jones 🧀
The Packers best player on offense showcased his elite skill in the receiving game once again as Packers lead back Aaron Jones had nine catches for 53 yards and two touchdowns — one of which was a miraculous turnaround grab to pull the Packers close late. It’s apparent to most of us fans out there — and not the coaching staff seemingly — that Aaron Jones needs to be incorporated more.
De’Vondre Campbell 🧀
Dre’s pick-six on Sunday was more akin to defensive back play than linebacker play. Campbell jumped Taylor Heinicke’s throw to J.D. McKissic and SNATCHED that ball from the talented pass-catching running back and returned it to the end zone. Campbell also had 12 tackles and three for a loss. Hopefully this is the game that kickstarts Dre’s season and he returns to his 2021 form.
Rasul Douglas 🧀
The biggest letdown of Sunday’s game was Rasul Douglas’ scoop and score being negated by Eric Stokes penalty. But even outside of that tragic call, Rasul had a great game in coverage. Rasul had 10 tackles on Sunday to go with three pass deflections and only allowing three receptions on seven targets for 29 total yards. Pretty good I’d say.

Preview of Packers-Commanders, score predictions
The Packers are double digits underdogs for the first time in Aaron Rodgers’ career. Things are going great.
With that being said, the Bills are a damn good football team and have earned those points. Their offense is lead by Josh Allen, a monster of a man at 6’5” 240 and has enough arm to throw his talented receiver core open at any point. And if they’re not open, he isn’t afraid to tuck it and run either.
Leading the receiver core is former Minnesota Viking receiver Stefon Diggs. Diggs has 656 yards, 49 receptions and six touchdowns in six games. That’s incredible. Jaire Alexander is going to have his work cut out for him this week, that’s for sure.
On the other side of the ball, the Bills field one of the most talented and unique defensive squads in the league. They are DEEP. The Bills love rotating their guys in and out of plays to keep everyone fresh and ready for the next blitz Leslie Frazier is going to dial up with former all-pro linebacker Von Miller — who is still playing at that level, despite most recently earning that award in 2016. Keeping Miller and his gang of quarterback blitzers — Gregory Rousseau, Jordan Phillips, A.J. Espensa and more — at bay should be a point of emphasis for the Pack this week.
