Previewing the 2022 Milwaukee Brewers season, offensive concerns, and game-changing pitching
Running the rule over the Brewers ahead of Opening Day
Opening Day is almost here, so the 2022 Milwaukee Brewers season is well and truly upon us!
If the combination of the condensed, post-lockout run up or a focus on the business end of the Bucks’ season means you feel unprepared for what the Brew Crew have to offer this year, Andrew Snyder and I are on hand to help you to get ready.
In our Crewsing for a Brewsing season preview, we took a closer look at the ins and outs from Milwaukee’s offseason, the batting outlook for the season ahead and whether offensive concerns could sink the Brewers again, and the embarrassment of pitching riches at the Brew Crew’s disposal and how that all but guarantees this is a team with a very high floor.
We also react to Pedro Severino’s 80-game suspension and the sudden need for a backup catcher, Keston Hiura’s standout Spring Training and the chances of a major bounceback year for him, and much, much more.
Thanks to some very kind folks who answered the call on Twitter, we also have our first ever mailbag as we dived into listeners’ questions on the Brewers.
I hope you enjoy listening and, again, make sure to subscribe wherever you get your pods, and follow us on Twitter (@BrewersGSPN). We appreciate all of your support as we get this new GSPN podcast off the ground, and would love to hear any thoughts or feedback you might have.
We’ll be back with a new episode on Friday morning, reacting to the Brewers’ Opening Day clash with the Chicago Cubs.
