PODCAST: The Bucks' latest uniform, the franchise's visual identity, and NBA 75
Plus: A new reveal on our in progress Bucks documentary podcast series
The Bucks are largely injured (or in health and safety protocol) and none of this is anywhere near as fun as we’d have all hoped the follow up to a championship season would begin. So with that in mind, let’s take a little bit of time to focus a little less on the present.
That’s exactly what Jordan and I did for the latest episode of Win in 6, as we took some time to share our thoughts on the Bucks’ new City Edition uniforms, and how they’re reflective of the franchise’s muddled visual identity at present.
We also went deep on the NBA 75, why it matters, why the NBA and its teams must continue doing a better job at sharing their history and educating fans, and where the list went right and wrong.
Last but by no means least, we also revealed some more details about our ongoing work on a documentary podcast series on the foundations of the Bucks and the teams’s first championship. To get the full story on that, you’ll have to listen, but in short the journey to the Bucks getting their start in Milwaukee can’t be separated from the formative days of Wisconsin pro basketball in Oshkosh and Sheboygan, and even more specifically, the Milwaukee Hawks, which was the city’s first NBA franchise.
I hope you enjoy all of that, and we’ll be back with you in Bucks present very soon.
