PODCAST: The Bucks are skipping class but passing their tests
Now the question is how much of the final exam will rely on attendance.
We're getting some truly ugly losses from the Milwaukee Bucks in the past few weeks, but Rohan Katti and I sat down on today’s Gyro Step to discuss how despite the Ls it's clear the Bucks still have a high enough ceiling to beat any given team on any given night, which is good!
Some of the basketball we’re subject to without Jrue Holiday and Brook Lopez is not good, however. We mainly focused how much these bad games will cost the team in the long run assuming they get relatively healthy at some point — obviously if they don’t ever get relatively healthy, that’s a more dire conversation.
Topics covered within the overall podcast discussion include the bench being the real reason Milwaukee keeps losing, how the team will perform against a fairly tough upcoming schedule, and the red flags surrounding Jordan Nwora recently.
Also included is my apparently heartless take on DJ Wilson finding a new NBA home in Toronto. That debate is at the end, but it's worth the wait for how incredulous Rohan is that I’m not happy for DJ.
