PODCAST: Our biggest takeaways from Milwaukee Bucks Media Day
We've got everything from injury updates to roster moves to talk about!
The Milwaukee Bucks held their media day on Monday, like most teams around the NBA, so Rohan Katti and I got together this morning to share our thoughts on some crucial Bucks updates.
The first one is a bummer — according to ownership and Bucks GM Jon Horst, the team unfortunately is not fully vaccinated. Unlike the Nets and Warriors, there is no current mandate in place that could force unvaccinated Bucks to miss home games, but for the good of public health it’d still be nice if all players, not just the “vast majority,” were vaccinated.
One player who did confirm they got the shot is Giannis Antetokounmpo. Outside of some awesome quotes about nobody believing in the Bucks and him not being satisfied, that was about all of the good Giannis news, as GA shared that his knee is still not 100%. Giannis also did not participate the next day in 5 on 5s, leaving his status for preseason basketball next week at least somewhat in doubt.
We also covered the way Jon Horst spoke about Milwaukee's size, looked ahead to future moves we think the team will make before the 2022 NBA Playoffs begin, and even made a bet based on a former Buck’s career high in scoring going forward.
Thanks as always for reading and being subscribed, and enjoy!
