PODCAST: Giannis! Plus more reasons to be excited about the Bucks season.

2021-22 is shaping up to be a hell of the year for the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Milwaukee Bucks are poised to have a fantastic 2021-22 NBA season for a lot of reasons — I mean, it’s a title defense, to start — but none of those reasons are more important or exciting than Giannis Antetokounmpo. So when Rohan Katti and I decided to list off what we’re most excited about on an episode of the Gyro Step, we agreed to co-sign Giannis' seemingly improved jumper and continuing overall dominance as item number one and the best place to start.

After gushing over Giannis, we moved on to our individual lists of exciting Bucks things. We both picked out four reasons to be pumped, and somehow we didn’t actually end up with too much overlap, although there are some common themes.

The topics included everything from seeing more of Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday functioning together, to a revamped approach on offense, to Semi Ojeleye and Jordan Nwora finding their way into the rotation. We also found some time to appreciate Jon Horst on the heels of him receiving a well-deserved multi-year contract extension.

The word is being used a ton right now, but it's hard to be anything but excited!
