PODCAST: Assessing the Bucks best buyout options
On the latest Gyro Step we looked at a ton of potentially available players to fill Milwaukee's open roster spots.
The Milwaukee Bucks need to find impact players to fill their open roster spots, so Rohan Katti and I ranked the best available (and semi-available) options on the latest episode of the Gyro Step, Super Bowl Sunday edition. (We shared our picks for the big game too.)
Players discussed include Goran Dragic, DeAndre' Bembry, Gary Harris, Dennis Schroder, Tristan Thompson, Kent Bazemore, John Wall, Eric Bledsoe, and more. Unfortunately Bledsoe probably won’t be bought out, so that’s the extent of that discussion.
We also explored some Wisconsin Herd players who would be good options to get a shot with the Bucks as Milwaukee waits for the buyout market to fully materialize, and talked briefly about whether or not Milwaukee will actually use its 2022 first round pick.
I got to watch the G League Ignite team with draft prospects take on the Herd on Saturday, so I shared thoughts on a pair of players from that team who could be fun Bucks draft picks: Milwaukee’s own Michael Foster Jr., and Scoot Henderson. But since it’s the Bucks, that first probably gets flipped for seconds or something on draft day.
