Packers shut out Saints, clinch playoff berth

The Green Bay Packers pummeled the New Orleans Saints at Lambeau Field on Monday Night Football.

It’s official: The Green Bay Packers have clinched a playoff spot.

The Packers celebrated this feat by totally dominating the New Orleans Saints to the tune of a 34-0 shutout — the first shutout of this entire NFL season. The wintry conditions inside and outside of Lambeau Field while on Monday Night Football only proved to be the cherry on top.

It was a complete performance for the Packers. Not just on both sides of the ball, but in the fact that everyone — from starters to reserves — got their moment to shine or playing time while they breezed through the sorry Saints.

The biggest question coming out of this game certainly centers around Christian Watson’s injury, which eventually forced him to get shut down as the Packers were adding to their rout. Much more to come on Christmas Eve, but it’s certainly not a good sign that health issues look to be plaguing the third-year wideout as we near the postseason.

Join guest co-host Andrew Snyder and I as we broke down what stood out in the Packers’ easy victory over the Saints!
