The defensive line and edge rushers finally had an opportunity to pin their ears back and get after one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL in the Packers Week 3 matchup against the Tennessee Titans. Overall, the defense recorded a blistering eight sacks, a forced fumble and two interceptions including Xavier McKinney’s third in three games and Jaire’s first ever pick-6.
Still, the spotlight was on Malik Willis has he secured a 30-14 win over the team that traded him just one month ago.
As always, Jordan and I handed out their cheeses and added some players to the 2024 Cheeseboard.

Week 2 cheeses
🧀 Malik Willis 🧀
Prior to his time in Green Bay, Malik Willis was known for his howitzer of an arm that couldn’t dial in the accuracy to hit the broadside of barn. Pair that with his 0-3 record and 0 career touchdowns in Tennessee, the Malik Willis Reclamation Project was expected to take sometime. Nobody expected Willis to be this efficient so early in his time filling in for Jordan Love. Through his two starts, he is 25-33 with 344 passing yards, two passing touchdowns, 114 yards rushing and a rushing TD — all while keeping the offense moving, making some huge throws at critical junctures in the game and most importantly keeping the ball out of harm’s way. That definitely deserves a nice slice of sharp cheddar.
🧀 Jaire Alexander 🧀
Jaire is without a doubt one of the biggest personalities on the team and in the NFL. Another statement of little doubt is that Jaire is loving his time in Jeff Hafley’s defensive scheme. Through three games, Jaire has two interceptions and if it weren’t for his week 1 gaff against A.J. Brown that led to a long touchdown, he’d have nearly flawless season thus far. Coming into his seventh year in the league, Jaire had 10 career interceptions and none returned for touchdowns, which means his high-stepping strut into the end zone for his first-career pick-6 was quintessential Jaire and certainly worth a cheese.
🧀 De’Vonte Wyatt 🧀
After an up and down rookie season with little playing time and a disappointing sophomore slump, De’Vonte Wyatt is starting to blossom as a stud on the defensive line. He leads the the team in sacks with three and is becoming the force that he was meant to be alongside Kenny Clark. His two sacks and emergence gets him on the cheeseboard.
🧀 Kingsley Enagbare 🧀
Kingsley Enagbare is showing out in 2024. The third-year pro has two sacks through three games in 54 pass rushing snaps, one behind De’Vonte Wyatt in 10 fewer snaps. A rotational edge rushers, when Enagbare is on the field he is making plays all over the place. Whether it’s forcing fumbles on Will Levis or making critical stops in the run game — he’s also second amongst defensive lineman and edge rushers in PFF’s stops metric with four, two behind Wyatt again — Enagbare is a key piece in the pass rushing rotation to ensure opposing QBs behind bad offensive line’s have zero respite when Rashan Gary or Preston Smith get a breather.
