Well that was certainly a series of Major League Baseball! Baseball games were played and one team won games and one team lost games. It turns out the Los Angeles Dodgers are good.
Yours and my Milwaukee Brewers just got swept by the aforementioned Dodgers, despite it being a totally reasonable outcome given the quality of the teams, it was frustrating to sit through.
The first two games had similar themes. The Dodgers played excellent defense, the Brewers played sloppy defense, the Dodgers’ pitching was dominant, the Brewers’ pitching was unlucky, the Milwaukee bats couldn’t muster much at all let alone cash in on key opportunities (batted ball luck was also nowhere to be found), and finally the Dodgers offense took advantage of every opportunity.
The 6-2 loss and 7-1 loss were followed by a 1-0 shutout that saw a Corbin Burnes gem wasted. The Dodgers again played excellent defense as every hard hit ball by a Brewer seemed to find a glove. Next up the road trip gets finished off with a series against the first place Texas Rangers.

Corbin Burnes🍺🍺
I mean, I don’t know what to say. Corbin Burnes was brilliant. The Milwaukee ace threw seven shutout innings with nine strikeouts against a Dodgers team that has now won 11 games in a row.
Sal Frelick🍺
Sal Frelick only got one hit in the series, but he reached base three times in the finale and stole three bases. He also played well defensively in a series defined by defensive miscues.
Tyrone Taylor🍺
Tyrone Taylor got two hits in the final game of the series. That’s basically as good as hitting for the cycle, right?
