Brewers’ winning streak extends to five with sweep of the Twins
We like winning streaks
The Milwaukee Brewers can’t stop winning baseball games. We were walking on air after the Brewers swept the Texas Rangers over the weekend and the good vibes just keep on coming.
The Crew returned home this week and welcomed the Minnesota Twins to town. Milwaukee won both games in this two game series to increase their winning streak to five games.
Tuesday’s standout moment was a 6th inning that saw the Brewers plate four runs on six singles. Station to station, am I right? Wednesday’s high heat/high humidity finale saw Milwaukee battle several different types of adversity to eventually come out victorious, thanks to a Brice Turang walk-off infield single .
The home-stand now rolls on through the weekend. The San Diego Padres will come to town for three games before the Brewers head to Chicago for a crucial series against the Cubs.
