Brewers take series against the Pirates as playoff opponent remains up in the air
Murph's road warriors claim another victim.
No more regular season road games left for the 2024 Milwaukee Brewers, that chapter has closed. The Crew finished off their road slate in style by taking two of three games from the Pittsburgh Pirates.
There is still much to be settled in the National League Wild Card race, so the Brewers may not know who their opponent will be until Monday. Of course, they’ll have some say in the matter.
The New York Mets come to town this weekend clinging to a one game lead over the Atlanta Braves for that final playoff spot. If there are still playoff berths to be decided after this weekend, the Braves and Mets will play a doubleheader Monday to finish out their season.
Also, some idiot (me) forgot to send out the update for last weekend’s series against the Diamondbacks. The update will be at the bottom of this post below the beers for the Pirates series. Please forgive this error.
