Brewers stay hot by taking 3 of 4 from the Reds in Cincinnati
DL Hall throws a gem, Jackson Chourio is a superhero, and Willy Adames can't stop hitting homers!
It was another successful weekend on the diamond for the Milwaukee Brewers, as they took three of four games from the Cincinnati Reds in their final matchup of the season. They started by sweeping Friday’s doubleheader. They won a tight 5-4 ballgame in extra innings, which was followed by a DL Hall gem and a 10-run 9th inning that resulted in a 14-0 beatdown.
Saturday was got a little too close for comfort, but they ultimately secured the series win after an excellent defensive play from Jake Bauers with the bases loaded.
It doesn’t matter if you strikeout four times in five at-bats if you save the game with your glove. That’s resilience, folks.
The Crew would drop the final game of this series, which once again went extra innings, with a final score of 4-3 Reds. Next up (like right now as I type this) the Brewers face off against the St. Louis Cardinals for the final time this season.
