Brewers find just enough offense for series win over the Toronto Blue Jays

Alls well that ends well against the blue birds.

The Milwaukee Brewers kept the series wins rolling this week by taking two of three games against the Toronto Blue Jays. Colin Rea got the series off to a great start by tossing seven innings and allowing just a single run in a 3-1 Brewers win.

The Milwaukee bats were flummoxed in Game 2 as the Jays evened things up with a 3-0 win. This story, of course, does have a happy ending. Tobias Myers had his second consecutive dazzling start, this time allowing one run in six inning on just 66 pitches.

The bottom of the 6th inning saw the Brewers show off their speed and power, as they turned a 1-0 deficit into a 5-1 lead. A rollercoaster of a 9th inning made things a little scary, but Trevor Megill eventually closed down a 5-4 win.

Next up, The Crew will welcome the Cincinnati Reds to town for a battle between division rivals.
